Our small family of traditional handcrafted luxury huts includes two Gypsy huts, two Poacher's huts and a single Shepherd's hut. Each has its own individual character with an elegant, eclectic, bespoke interior designed to give you a truly unique experience.

Taking Llywelyn the Great (c. 1173 – 11 April 1240), King of Gwynedd and ruler of Wales, as inspiration, we have named our huts in celebration of the women of this great dynasty.

Joan is the largest of our little family of handcrafted huts and is designed with an elegant fusion of rustic charm and modern comforts. Joan opens directly onto our private wildlife lake with its stunning views. Joan has the added advantage of being dog-friendly too, so there is plenty of room for you and your four-legged friend.

Susanna is one of our two handcrafted poachers huts and offers generous accommodation with the added charm of double doors opening directly onto an awe-inspiring view of our private wildlife lake with far reaching uninterrupted views.

Angharad is one of our two handcrafted poachers huts. Her decor is inspired by the hues and textures of the nearby hills and mountains, creating a harmonious space that invites relaxation and connection with nature. Angharad is is dog-friendly too, so there is plenty of room for you and your four-legged friend.

Marared - luxury gypsy hut

Marared is one of our two handcrafted gypsy huts, combining cosy comfort with modern facilities. Opening up onto our private wildlife lake, Marared truly allows you to truly disconnect, relax, and engage with the natural surroundings.

Elen - luxury gypsy hut

Elen is the other of our two handcrafted gypsy huts, perfectly designed to offer a cosy, intimate space combined with modern convenience. With a view of our private wildlife lake, Elen is the perfect escape into nature.

The site

Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts are located at the end of a private lane and surrounded by woodland and fields that invite you to unwind and connect with nature.

The huts are thoughtfully spaced apart, ensuring a sense of privacy for each guest and each has its own car parking space. Each hut boasts stunning views of our wildlife lake and meadow, where you might spot moorhens, kingfishers, herons, foxes, and even deer, while enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the site.
