Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts is a collection of five award‑winning boutique huts at the end of a private lane, surrounded by woodland, meadow and open fields. Each hut is thoughtfully spaced to give you privacy and overlooks our wildlife lake, home to kingfishers, herons, foxes and deer.
Our small family of huts includes two Gypsy huts, two Poacher’s huts and one Shepherd’s hut, each individually designed to make your stay feel personal and unique.
ADULTS ONLY - BUT DOGS WELCOME!
We’re an adults‑only retreat, created for you to enjoy true peace and quiet. Whether you’re travelling solo and seeking space to unwind, exploring the peninsula at your own pace, or escaping for uninterrupted time together, this is your place to pause and breathe.
If you’d like to bring your dog, two of our huts - Joan and Angharad - are dog‑friendly. We welcome one small to medium‑sized dog, giving you the freedom to enjoy your break without leaving your four‑legged companion behind.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a cosy, comfortable and relaxing stay. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable double bed with bed linen and towels provided, and an en‑suite shower room. A wood‑burning stove keeps the evenings warm and cosy, and you’ll have your own private outdoor space for slow alfresco dining and watching the sun set over the mountains
