One of the joys of a group escape is spending time together. But that doesn’t mean you need to spend every moment together.
Each of our five individually designed shepherd huts sleeps up to two adults and has its own double bed, en-suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen, wood burner and private outside space.
So everyone has the comfort and privacy of their own little retreat, while the barn gives you a warm and welcoming space where all 10 of you can gather together.
Share long dinners around the table. Light the log burner and settle in for the evening. Open a bottle of something special, bring out the board games or simply sit and catch up without anyone needing to rush home.
It’s group accommodation with the best of both worlds – time together and space of your own.
YOUR OWN PRIVATE RETREAT
When you book Brook Cottage exclusively, there are no other guests staying on site.
You’ll have all five shepherd huts, the barn and our outside spaces to yourselves, surrounded by open fields and woodland with views towards the mountains.
Wander around the wildlife lake, sit outside your huts as the sun goes down, gather around the fire pits or simply enjoy the rare luxury of having nowhere else you need to be.
Set at the end of a private country lane, Brook Cottage feels wonderfully tucked away, yet the beaches, mountains, villages and attractions of the Llŷn Peninsula and North Wales are all within easy reach.
There is private parking for up to five vehicles.
THE BARN
At the heart of your group stay is our converted barn – a cosy shared space exclusively for your group to enjoy.
Inside you’ll find a large dining table with seating for 10, a log burner, books and board games to borrow and space to gather together over food, drinks and conversation.
food can be prepared in your huts or outside on your individual fire pit/BBQs before bringing everything together for a shared meal in the barn.
Or you can leave the cooking to someone else...

Brook Cottage is a peaceful rural retreat, so our group stays are perfect for relaxed gatherings, celebrations and time together rather than parties. We welcome birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, groups of friends, family gatherings, walking breaks, retreats, weddings and vow renewals, but we don’t accept stag or hen parties.

EXPLORE TOGETHER
If you can tear yourselves away from Brook Cottage, there’s plenty to discover nearby.
Spend the day walking in the mountains, follow stretches of the Wales Coast Path, find a quiet beach, visit one of the Llŷn Peninsula’s pretty coastal villages or head out for lunch or dinner together.
Eryri (Snowdonia) is within easy reach, as are Portmeirion, historic castles, beautiful gardens and some of North Wales’ most spectacular coastline.
